Requirements for Course Providers

Below are the procedures associated with how to become an NMLS approved course provider and submit courses for approval. In putting together these documents NMLS has been working with a Testing and Education Committee comprised of state representatives from California, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington. Additionally, many of these documents have also been reviewed by an NMLS-sponsored Course Provider Working Group comprised of 16 individuals representing course providers and state and national trade associations from across the country.
