News and Alerts
Vermont adds new license
As of July 1, Vermont is accepting applications for the Mortgage
Broker - Sole Proprietor License. This license is only available to
sole proprietors engaged in mortgage broker activities where no person,
other than the sole proprietor, is authorized to act as a mortgage
broker under the license. For more information see Vermont License Descriptions and
Checklists.
Financial statement submission reminder
Financial statements, if required by a state regulator, must be
submitted within 90 days of a company's fiscal year end. Companies with
a Fiscal Year End of March 31st must submit their financial statements
through NMLS by June 30, 2009. For more details on state requirements
