NMLS User Conference &
Training
The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) is conducting the
second annual NMLS User Conference & Training for regulatory and
industry system users, education providers, consultants, and other
interested parties. Designed for both new and experienced users,
the Conference provides an invaluable exchange of information among
System users on issues that affect their organization’s use of
NMLS. Conference training sessions focus on the specific needs of
regulatory and industry users of the System and general sessions provide
forums for feedback and discussion of NMLS functionality and
policies.
- Industry participants will learn recommended practices
for using the System and hear how both state and federal agencies are
implementing various SAFE Act requirements in NMLS.
- Regulators will hear from licensees about
their experience on the System and discuss best practices with
fellow regulators.
- Education providers will interact with NMLS staff and
regulatory policy makers concerning education policy and
functionality.
- All participants will learn more about current and future
functionality in NMLS, particularly in relationship to the Federal
mandate (SAFE Act) for mortgage loan originator licensing and
registration.
- New users and prospective course providers are
encouraged to also register for one of the pre-conference Beginners
Training Sessions, which will provide company and regulator users with
the basics of getting started on NMLS. Prospective course
providers can learn everything about becoming an Approved Course
Provider.

NOTE: In order to register for this event,
you will need to create a login ID on the CSBS website. You cannot
use your NMLS system login ID. Regulators may request payment via
invoice. All other attendees must pay with a major credit
card.
